In her article "Continuous Decentering—Sextus and Dōgen", she formulates the concept of 'continuous decentering' which emerges from the investigation of arguments by various philosophers— especially the Ancient Greek Sextus Empiricus and the medieval Japanese Dōgen, but also the contemporary Keiichi Noé and Donna Harraway— who agree in neither accepting any truth as absolute nor giving up on finding any truth. They rather encourage us to look for a shared truth in continuous conversation with others, after becoming aware of our situatedness and refraining from putting our “self” and our views at the centre of reality.
