Horizon2020 project ReROOT explores migrants’ arrival infrastructures in Europe

ReROOT, a new Horizon2020 project in which Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ is a partner, will explore historical and more recent infrastructures of arrival for migrants in Europe. The project should lead to concrete tools and recommendations on how to plan and implement effective integration policies and practices. ReROOT was officially launched on 9 April 2021 and will run for approximately 4.5 years. Horizon2020 project HumMingBird uses big data to derive migration indicators

The HumMingBird consortium recently released its on addressing the international migration data gaps. Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ leads the analysis of mobile CDR data in the consortium, which also explores satellite images and social media analyses, in conjunction with more traditional, qualitative research techniques, to understand the data gaps in migration.
