This month, anthropologist and historian Beatrice de Graaf explain how ‘security’ is used in different contexts. Erella is an anthropologist at the ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ of Amsterdam working on issues of militarization and security in Israel/Palestine. Beatrice is a distinguished professor at Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ, where she researches the history of security, (counter)terrorism, and international relations.
