The Future Food Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Prescilla Jeurink as new Future Food Ambassador.

Prescilla Jeurink

Prescilla Jeurink recently started as Pharmacology teacher within Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Science. She is fascinated by the potential impact of a healthy diet and lifestyle in the maintenance of good health. Her ambition as ambassador is to seek synergies between expertise on human, animal and plant immune resilience and nutrition within academic groups, companies and medical centres.

Through education, scientific meetings and facilitation of public-private partnership grant applications, I hope to see more high-quality science translated into health-improving applications.

The rapid developments in personalised nutrition and health, and e-health technology might enable all of us to maintain the resilience of our immune system and keep health care affordable in the future.

Together with the other two FFU ambassadors, Guido van den Ackerveken en Jerry van Dijk, she will help to further promote our FFU research profile both in and outside the university. They will focus on enhancing research opportunities and collaborations within the FFU topics.
