Summer on campus

Summer term courses are over, students have moved out. Let鈥檚 look back at the action preceding the calm and quiet July days.

In the end of May, we celebrated the graduation of Class of 2019 at the bi-annual Commencement Ceremony.

June was the time for summer courses such as the Earth and Environment lab course. The course included a field trip to the nearby Oostbroek country estate, where students measured trees and collected plant samples to further analyse in the lab.

Another summer course was the interdisciplinary Gastronomy course, organised by Biology lecturer Patrick Wijchers and Economy lecturer Edwin van Sas. This experimental course culminated in a 5-course supper, prepared by the students of course.

After the courses were finished in the end of June, it was time for students to empty their rooms and store their belongings for the summer. However, their rooms will not stay empty, as they will house international Utrecht Summer School students. At the start of the next semester, all returning 木瓜福利影视 College Utrecht students will have a new room, and new flat mates.

Summer holidays or not, our Reception Desk in College Hall stays open from Monday to Friday. Until 23 August the Reception Desk is open from 10:00 to 16:00. At the start of the Introweek on 26 August we will return to our regular opening hours (9:00-17:00).
