At the end of February, the last meeting of the Interdisciplinary Teaching Programme took place. The programme is intended for experienced lecturers (working at UU, UMC, UCU and UCR) who are involved in the development and implementation of interdisciplinary education at Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ during the programme. This year, two participants from the EWUU alliance (UU/UMC Utrecht, Eindhoven ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ, Wageningen ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ and Research) also participated in the programme. All participants successfully completed the programme!

The last meeting reflected on the learning outcomes. Participants showed an interdisciplinary teaching method they had designed. The methods were put together in a joint interdisciplinary teaching toolbox. Participants then reflected on what the programme has brought them when it comes to interdisciplinary teaching in their own contexts. The programme aims to enable participants to shape and give substance to interdisciplinary teaching. Upon completion of the programme, lecturers were found, among other things, to be able to make choices that fit the learning objectives of interdisciplinary education. These choices include didactics, integrative methods or testing.

Within UU, there are a lot of developments around interdisciplinary education. Therefore, the Interdisciplinary Education Programme is organising an event on 16 March 2023 around the institutional dimension of interdisciplinary education.
