Dr. Sandra de Pleijt (Economische en sociale geschiedenis) received a NWO Rubicon grant to continue her research at Oxford 木瓜福利影视.

In De Pleijt's research, she will estimate time series of physical capital for England and Holland to determine the causes of modern economic growth. Her project is called: "Physical capital formation in Britain and Holland in the long run".

This year, 21 postdoctoral researchers received a Rubicon grant from NWO. Besides De Pleijt, UU researchers Erik Kleyheeg, Muhammad Kaplan and Elbert de Jong received a scholarship. The funding is specifically intended to give promising young researchers the opportunity to gain international research experience.
