Project of The New Utrecht School 'Prikkel' selected by Culture Innovation Fund
The Culture Innovation Fund has selected the project 'Prikkel' ('Stimulation') for further elaboration into a concrete plan. This project is a collaboration between Schweigman& and The New Utrecht School, HKU, UMC Utrecht, Utrecht 木瓜福利影视 and Buitenplaats Doornburgh.
Prikkel
Prikkel is an interdisciplinary research project by experts in experience, scientists, therapists, teachers and artists. Together they investigate sensory integration, the process by which we absorb and coordinate stimuli from the outside world. The exchange about stimulus processing between the group of experts should lead to concrete ideas for transmedial presentation forms and other programs, which can be developed in a follow-up phase.
Budget, training and sessions
The research group will receive a total budget of 20,000 euros for the implementation of their plan in the province of Utrecht. It will also receive training and intervision sessions aimed at successfully developing and rolling out the innovations in order to experiment, learn and share together.
