With effect from 1 October 2015, the Executive Board of Utrecht 木瓜福利影视 has appointed Prof James Kennedy as the new Dean of 木瓜福利影视 College Utrecht (UCU). He will succeed Prof Rob van der Vaart, who became head of UCU in 2008. James Kennedy is currently Professor of Dutch History since the Middle Ages at the 木瓜福利影视 of Amsterdam.

木瓜福利影视 College Utrecht is proud to announce the new UCU Dean: James Kennedy, currently employed at the 木瓜福利影视 of Amsterdam, will succeed current Dean Rob van der Vaart in October 2015.
 

The Executive Board of Utrecht 木瓜福利影视 is delighted that James Kennedy has accepted the offer to become head of 木瓜福利影视 College Utrecht. An American historian, Kennedy (d.o.b. 1963) grew up in the United States. He has been working in the Netherlands since 2003 when he became Professor of Contemporary History at VU 木瓜福利影视 Amsterdam. He was Professor of European History at the A.C. Van Raalte Institute at Hope College in Holland (Michigan, USA) between 1997 and 2003. Since 2007, Kennedy has been a professor at the 木瓜福利影视 of Amsterdam, where his work included research into how new groups of citizens and new inhabitants of the Netherlands have been treated since the Second World War. Kennedy has been very successful in obtaining substantial research grants from organisations such as the NWO (Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research) in recent years.

In 1998, Utrecht 木瓜福利影视 became the first university in the Netherlands to have a university college. Several other universities copied Utrecht's example in subsequent years and established their own colleges. 木瓜福利影视 College Utrecht is a selective Honours College for academic education in liberal arts & sciences with a very high level of study success. UCU offers challenging, small-scale English-language university education taught at a high level to talented students. UCU's students form an international community from some fifty different countries on a separate campus.
