PhD positions in circular RNA biology at the Pasterkamp Lab
The Pasterkamp Lab is involved in a new circular RNA biology Training Network
is involved in the new circular RNA biology Training Network (circRTrain). Their mission is to 'provide cross-disciplinary training in experimental and computational biology for a new generation of researchers who will exploit the power of emerging technological platforms to decipher the biology of circular RNAs' ().
CircRTrain is a Marie Curie Innovative Training Network (ITN) funded by the European Union within the H2020 Programme. The investigators are now hiring 15 PhD candidates who will start their projects between January and September 2017. They are looking for highly motivated young researchers to investigate the formation and role of circRNAs. Two projects are hosted by . One is about the function of circRNA in neural circuit development, the second project aims to characterize the functional role of circRNAs in ALS and TLE. The Pasterkamp Lab is involved in several other projects as well.
Projects 14 and 15 are hosted by the Pasterkamp Lab at the UMC Utrecht.
