"It's education with the windows wide open!" This is how one of the Open Education Fellows characterizes the plans for the Open Education track. In several ways, we are trying to bring society and science education closer together. For example, by working on better accessibility but also by literally inviting and involving each other in education.

Who is this 'academic in society' and how do you educate them well? How do you ensure that the effort teachers put into making educational materials and methods accessible actually pays off? When can you speak of a sustainable relationship between the programme and a social partner? The Fellows and the Open Education sounding board will look into these and many more questions and, above all, take action.
