Online session: Discussing moral questions step-by-step

The Centre for Academic Teaching and Learning (CAT) is organising a series of online sessions for teachers to support them in navigating conversations with and between students on the topic of the current situation in Gaza and the demonstrations at our university.

On Monday 17 June from 13:00-14:00 o’clock, Naomi van Steenbergen will provide an online sessions in which the Utrecht step-by-step plan, a method for moral deliberation, will be brought to attention. This method lends itself particularly well to discussing moral issues, for example for questions such as ‘What do I do when a student suddenly starts talking about Gaza during a lesson on a completely different subject?’.

Do you need support for such similar situations that arise during your lectures? Then be sure to join the session. Registration is not necessary.
