Studying in times of Corona
We are glad you're planning on studying with us. The measures taken due to the coronavirus have a major impact on education, but one thing we know for sure: your studies will continue, even during the corona crisis. When you start studying with us, you can expect high quality education.

We are currently preparing to offer a large part of our education online and, where possible, in our buildings. We prefer to welcome you on our campus as much as possible, because this way we do justice to the strong community that we are and that we want to form together with our new students. That's why we opt for on campus education if possible, but also for online education in order to make it possible for everyone to actively participate in education. On campus if possible. But also: online because it's possible.

We will soon be able to tell you more about what the academic year 2020-2021 will look like.

One thing is certain: health comes first.

For international students who are not yet in the Netherlands, it also depends on the travel restrictions that apply worldwide at that time. We understand that the situation is different for each of you and will take your personal situation into account. It is important to us to welcome you into our community on campus but we understand that this may not be possible. Don’t worry if you cannot make it here by September 2020 - in that case, you can start your programme online and join us on campus as soon as possible.

Orientation days
Getting off to a good start with your studies at Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ also means making a good start with your student life . We are working hard on an alternative orientation programme, one which will allow you to get to know the city, the university and each other. We will keep you informed and look forward to welcoming you to Utrecht soon!
