New public engagement program: Talks around Town
Connect with society

Attention researchers! You can now discuss your research with people outside the university. Sign up for Talks around Town.
In this new public program, researchers visit libraries, markets, and other public places to talk to random passers-by (N.B. for now, the conversation will be in Dutch). In a relaxed setting, you briefly explain the essence of your research and ask your conversation partner for their reaction.
By participating, you will discover new perspectives on your research, come into contact with people you would not normally talk to, and contribute to the connection between science and society.
We will help you in advance with one-on-one coaching. And, of course, we will take care of all the practical preparations.

Public engagement at Utrecht 木瓜福利影视
At Utrecht 木瓜福利影视, we see public engagement as part of Open Science. Open Science means sharing scientific results and data and making them usable, as well as allowing people outside the academic community to contribute ideas to research. This is essential for keeping the relationship between science and society open and democratic.
