New book: The Admission and Integration of Refugees in Europe
Legal and Policy Perspectives

On 12 June, , together with Dr. Giacomo Solano (Radboud 木瓜福利影视) presented their new book "", co-edited with Sebastian Meyer, at the European Parliament in Brussels.
In their presentation, they highlighted three key points:
馃敼 EU legislation artificially separates admission from integration, which risks undermining the long-term inclusion of refugees.
馃敼 Integration is too often treated as something that begins after protection status is granted鈥攜et it should start from day one, as soon as an asylum application is lodged.
馃敼 Integration support should go beyond narrow humanitarian or utilitarian approaches鈥攔efugees are not just passive recipients of aid or economic actors, but individuals with diverse experiences, agency, and contributions to offer.
