October 2 - Panel discussion: ‘Healthy and Sustainable Food, Envisioning Future Scenario’s to Drive Change in Society’

Our invites you to join their interactive panel discussion. Discover the challenges and opportunities associated with building a sustainable food system, while exploring the broader implications of societal system change. Esteemed panellists Robert van der Kruk (TU/e), Marleen Onwezen (WUR), Detlef van Vuuren (WUR),   Prescilla Jeurink (UU), led by moderator Roel Vermeulen (UU), will present future scenarios that envision a transformed world and provide strategies to bring it to life. A healthy and sustainable lunch is included.

2 October – Workshop: ‘Recognising and Rewarding unusual inter-and transdisciplinary research’

During this workshop on 2 October, 15:00 – 17:00 hours, our offers a contribution to the Recognition and Rewards debates, in order to better embed these elements in recognition and rewards for early and mid-career academics that dare to engage with the slow, but rewarding process of embarking on such a journey.

October 4: Circular Economy Festival

The focuses on circular economy in the region, highlighting the role of Utrecht ľ�ϸ���Ӱ�� in the field of Circular Economy together with campus partners such as the EWUU alliance, HU, RIVM, UMC Utrecht and TNO. An important role is reserved for regional cooperation. Our has a prominent place at the festival and we invite you to join the discussion about transition to a circular society and to come meet our team!

October 5 - Research Day UMC Utrecht: “Sustainable Science: how do we make impact?”

On Thursday, October 5, the Research Day will take place at UMC Utrecht. The entirety of this day is dedicated to research, shining a spotlight on researchers and the significance of research for both society and ourselves. The and the v will host a college tour session together, revolving around the themes of transdisciplinary research, AI for preventive health, and sustainable science. Join in for an interesting session presented by Roel Vermeulen (UU), Carl Moons (UMC Utrecht), Peter Blankestijn (UMC Utrecht) and EWUU Liaison Officer Tessa Scherphof (UU & UMC Utrecht).

The motto of the alliance between Eindhoven ľ�ϸ���Ӱ�� of Technology, Wageningen ľ�ϸ���Ӱ�� & Research, Utrecht ľ�ϸ���Ӱ�� and ľ�ϸ���Ӱ�� Medical Center Utrecht (), is ‘Challenging future generations’.
