Markos Karavias joins Utrecht 木瓜福利影视
Markos Karavias joins Utrecht 木瓜福利影视 as an assistant professor in Public International Law and a researcher at the Utrecht Centre for Water, Oceans and Sustainability Law and the Netherlands Institute for the Law of the Sea from September 2017.
He holds an LL.B. and a Master鈥檚 in International Studies from the National and Kapodistrian 木瓜福利影视 of Athens, and an M.Jur and D.Phil from the 木瓜福利影视 of Oxford. Markos is a qualified advocate practicing from the Athens Bar Association. He has been instructed in cases before domestic courts, as well as the European Court of Human Rights.
He has previously worked as a post-doctoral researcher and later assistant professor at the 木瓜福利影视 of Amsterdam, as well as special adviser to the Greek Minister for Environment, Energy and Climate Change. His research interests include international environmental law and law of the sea, as well as the intersection of international law and corporate governance.
