In 2026, Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ will celebrate its 390th anniversary. We will then celebrate our 78th lustrum, together with UMC Utrecht, which will celebrate its 14th lustrum. The theme will be ‘Cooperation in city and region’.

As an international university, with strong regional roots, we chose this theme because our university belongs to Utrecht, and Utrecht to our university. But the societal challenges we want to contribute to do not stop at our city borders.

The lustrum programme will tie in as much as possible with great activities that are already being organised. An overview of these will follow on the website at a later date.
