Kick-off event of the newly established Interuniversity Network on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
Earlier this year, the Interuniversity Network on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion was established, with the aim of facilitating exchange between academics from Dutch universities and universities of applied sciences, working on topics related to the themes of diversity and inclusion in organizational settings. On May 10, a very successful kick-off meeting was held!
A kick-off event took place on May 10 at Utrecht 木瓜福利影视. Network members shared expectations and ideas on how to structure future meetings and committed to the network鈥檚 goals of developing a nation-wide scientific community of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion experts, strengthening interdisciplinary exchange and collaborations and promoting engagement with society and practitioners.
The network provides an opportunity for academics and organizations to meet and collaborate with each other. Members of the network have backgrounds in applied data science, economics, management studies, organizational and social psychology, public administration and sociology, among others. This ties in strongly with the Future of Work platform within Utrecht 木瓜福利影视's research expertise Institutions for Open Societies, which also financially supports this network for the first year. The network is also in collaboration with the Gender, Diversity and Global Justice Platform.
