Just started as PhD candidate at UCERF : Kim Schuurman
As of April 1st, 2024, Kim Schuurman has commenced her PhD research at UCERF. Kim will conduct research into children鈥檚 digital rights under the guidance of Wendy Schrama, Nadya Purtova and Lorena Sosa.
Digital devices and technologies are omnipresent in today鈥檚 world and children are some of its most avid users. The unprecedented pace at which technologies develop has an impact upon children鈥檚 lives and, pertinently, their rights. Kim will investigate how children鈥檚 rights, particularly their right to privacy, can best be promoted and protected in our digitalised society.
