Judith van Erp gives lecture on white collar crime in Europe at Netherlands Institute in Athens

Prof. Judith van Erp, chair of Public Institutions, was invited to present her work on White Collar Crime in Europe at the Netherlands Institute in Athens on December 13. The seminar was organized at the occasion of the publication of the Routledge Handbook of White-Collar and Corporate Crime in Europe, co-edited by Van Erp, Wim Huisman and Gudrun VandeWalle.

The Netherlands Institute in Athens promotes academic and cultural exchanges between the Netherlands and Greece. An academic centre sustained by 6 Dutch universities among which Utrecht 木瓜福利影视, it organizes seminars and lectures in a range of disciplines, including the social sciences, and hosts Dutch researchers wishing to perform research in Greece. In her lecture, Van Erp presented the Dutch Real Estate fraud case and situated it in white collar crime scholarship in Europe, and provided lessons for the privatization currently taking place in Greece. The Dutch Ambassador in Greece, Caspar Veldkamp, paid a visit.
