Join us in celebrating the first CAT lustrum!
On 1 September 2022, the Centre for Academic Teaching and Learning (CAT) will celebrate its five-year anniversary! We would like to celebrate this milestone with all our lecturers and CAT partners during the lustrum symposium and festivities on Thursday 13 October. On this lustrum day, we will also celebrate the ten-year anniversary of our teacher community TAUU.
The symposium 'All Inclusive', which we organise in collaboration with the UU programme Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI), will take place from 13:00 -17:00 with contributions from our Senior & Principal Fellows G枚n眉l Dilaver, Jeroen Janssen and Leoniek Wijngaards, UHD Media and Performance Studies Bruce Mutsvairo and former national boxing champion Houda Loukili. There will also be a special live recording of our podcast 'De Docentenkamer' and you can sign up for various workshops regarding designing an inclusive curriculum, (digital) accessibility, pronouns and inclusive initiatives from the UU.
The symposium will be followed by a festive reception during which we will toast to five years of CAT and ten years of TAUU. While enjoying a bite and drink, we can listen to the varied music mix of the band Pierre et les Optimistes. The lustrum party will then be continued with a walking dinner during which the dance floor will also be opened! DJ Han Bosman will ensure a great party with her swinging beats.
In short, a day not to miss! Take a look at the complete programme and register now.
