Jacco Pekelder appointed endowed professor at Universit盲t des Saarlandes

Historian Dr (International and Political History) has been appointed Honorarprofessor Neueste Geschichte Westeuropas (endowed professor Newest History of Western Europe) at the Universit盲t des Saarlandes in Saarbr眉cken (Germany). On 28 September the university president, Prof. Volker Linneweber, handed him the certificate confirming the appointment.

In Saarbr眉cken, Pekelder will give research seminars within the Master's programmes of the Europ盲ische Zeitgeschichte and Kultur- und Mediengeschichte departments. In addition to contributing to research programmes, Pekelder will also strive to stimulate international exchange between students and scholars, notably from the Universit盲t des Saarlandes and Utrecht 木瓜福利影视.

The honorable appointment follows from Pekelder's earlier guest professorship in Saarbr眉cken as Gastprofessor 'Europaicum' 2013-14. He will continue to work at Utrecht 木瓜福利影视 as Assistent Professor of History of International Relations.
