YFFM: "During Science Week, Amped teamed up with us for an exciting collaboration. We started the day by handing out free pears across the Utrecht Science Park  (locally harvested from William Pouw鈥檚 farm by ourselves) in exchange for a "Pear Review". Through this short survey, we invited students and staff to share their thoughts on the food system on campus. We received a lot of responses!

A recurring theme in the feedback was the lack of affordable and filling food options. So, around lunchtime, we headed to the Educatorium and handed out free sample meals to passing students. This marked the first big promotional action for our future food stall: De Pit which we鈥檙e currently setting up and hope to launch soon.

The queue quickly grew, and students were incredibly happy with the delicious, hearty meal. A great start to something we hope will grow into a lasting change on campus!

This day was organised in collaboration with AMPED, and as Maarten Klop reflected: 鈥淭hank you all for this collaboration, it was a great day. I鈥檓 super excited by the responses we got in the form. From the 94 people who filled it in, 25 indicated their interest to volunteer in the food stall. Find some results below"
