Four awards for faculty Social and Behavioural Sciences in SGW Open Competition

Four of the 59 awards within the SGW Open Competition M 2024 are for the Utrecht Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences. The NWO grant is intended for free, curiosity-driven research that focuses on projects with a primarily social and/or humanities research question. The projects last no longer than 5 years.

The four awarded projects, in which there is ample room for experiments and innovation, are in the hands of Rense Corten, Anne-Rigt Poortman and Anne Brons, Inge Wissink and Isabelle van der Vegt, and Helen Vossen (who collaborates with Sindy Sumter from the UvA within her project). The subjects of the projects range from tackling cyberhate to the redistribution of money within divorced families.
