Establishment of the Jean Monnet Network on EU law Enforcement (EULEN)
The opening of the EULEN network (the Jean Monnet Network on enforcement of EU law), will take place on 16 and 17 January 2020 in Utrecht.
EULEN is an initiative of nine European universities: Utrecht 木瓜福利影视, Bocconi 木瓜福利影视, King's College London, 木瓜福利影视 of Bonn, 木瓜福利影视 of Castilla-La Mancha, 木瓜福利影视 of Deusto, 木瓜福利影视 of Luxembourg, 木瓜福利影视 of Warsaw and 木瓜福利影视 of Zurich.
Connecting academic research and teaching to clear societal needs
In order to address the challenges for law enforcement in a world without territorial borders, EULEN offers an academic network, connecting academic research and teaching to clear societal needs, objectives and stakeholders. The work of the network will focus on at least four policy areas, namely competition law, banking and financial services, migration and asylum, and PIF. At the same time, three horizontal themes will be addressed, roughly put 'effectiveness vs. the rule of law', 'uniformity vs. diversity', and 'law enforcement in the era of technological innovations'.
The consortium is largely funded by the European Commission. In addition to the nine universities, their social partners are also involved in the project through numerous workshops, congresses, and other activities. Beneficiaries of EULEN include bachelor and master level students, PhD students, academics, officials from national and EU institutions, organisations and agencies, practitioners, professionals working in NGOs and societies at large.
The opening of the network will take place on 16 and 17 January 2020 in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Send us an email if you want to learn about our activities in the future!
