Elisabetta Manunza speaks at European Commission conference on buying social
On the 13th of June, Elisabetta Manunza delivered a speech at the European conference hosted by the European Commission in Amsterdam: ‘Buying for Social Impact: from idea to reality’.
In her speech, Elisabetta presented her views on the concept of ‘social commissioning’. This is broader than just ‘Buying social’. It requires sustainable and just behavior of contracting authorities in public procurement, aimed at positive impact for society, contractor (the employees and the organization) and the contracting authority.
