Creating an impact with your teaching? Openly publish your educational resources on edusources
Open learning materials, or Open Educational Resources, are materials that are available openly and free of charge. As a result, they can be reused by others. The 木瓜福利影视 Library supports lecturers who want to publish the open materials they created themselves. To that purpose the edusources platform and the repository SURFsharekit can be used.
Edusources is a national platform that focuses on digital, open educational resources. The platform allows lecturers to both share open resources and search for and reuse resources created by their colleagues. The 木瓜福利影视 Library advises lecturers on the use of edusources, for instance when uploading material or observing copyright.
How do you use edusources and the Sharekit? Read more about publishing open educational resources.
Why sharing?
By openly sharing your educational resources on edusources, you make your teaching expertise visible to others. You also make your teaching more accessible: also colleagues, students and other interested parties can use your material in a simple way. In addition, in collaboration with your colleagues (from other institutions) you can create a collection of learning materials for your discipline! Here the saying applies: many hands make light work.
Why searching and reusing?
Need inspiration for educational resources from your discipline? Or are you interested in reusing (free of charge!) existing educational resources? Edusources allows you to search for materials that fit in with your teaching. And what鈥檚 more: reusing materials, with maybe some small adjustments here and there, saves you a lot of time!
Are you interested? In the upcoming period the library organises activities on the use of edusources and the SURFsharekit. Check the list of events on our website. On 21 November a network meeting will take place for lecturers and education support staff to learn from each other鈥檚 experiences. Or why not visit edusources and have a look yourself?
