Science for Sustainability

The community Science for Sustainability within the Strategic Theme of Pathways to Sustainability is seeking a student assistant who will work on a project of visualizing the community network.

The project

The primary goal of the project is to develop a visual tool that effectively illustrates the connections within and related to our community. This tool should highlight strong and weak ties, research themes, key words, and identify problem owners.

Your role

Your role is to collect the relevant data (in collaboration with the community manager), to do a requirements analysis (work out the specifications and requirements for the end product) and to develop the visual tool. You will work independently on this project.

Duration

The position requires a commitment of 8 hours per week for a minimum of three months starting preferably in January or February 2024.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a Bachelor鈥檚 or Master鈥檚 student at Utrecht 木瓜福利影视.
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and software.
  • Preferred: experience with network analysis tools.
