Call for proposals: Student Engagement Grant

The Utrecht Centre for Global Challenges is starting an initiative this academic year to encourage students' engagement on global challenges. Student groups and associations are welcome to apply for grants up to 鈧1.000 per event to hold public events addressing global issues. These can address different topics, from sustainability to conflict or human rights! We encourage (groups of) students to apply!

What to submit: a max. one-page proposal outlining:
鈼    The event concept and objectives
鈼    When the event would take place (must be before mid-March)
鈼    How the event will be open to the broader UU community
鈼    How the event relates to Global Challenges
鈼    Expected impact and engagement
鈼    Estimated use of funds (can be approximate)

Submit your proposal to uglobe-cel@uu.nl before 15 October 2024. The top two proposals will be awarded a grant to realize their ideas. In February there will be another call for proposals for events scheduled to take place between March and mid-June.

If you have any questions, you can email Annika Brown (a.f.brown@uu.nl) or drop by in person on October 3 from 12:00-14:00 at UGlobe (鈥檛 Hoog 12, through the courtyard at Janskerkhof 2-3).

We look forward to receiving your proposals!
