Call for posters second Utrecht Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Conference

The second Utrecht Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Conference will take place on Thursday the 5th of March 2020. The conference aims to provide a platform for disseminating improvements in teaching and learning in Higher Education in an open, inspiring and stimulating atmosphere. Are you willing to enquire your education and learn from others? Join us on the 5th of March 2020 and send in an abstract for a poster!

Plenty of opportunities are provided to debate and reflect on teaching and learning methods in Higher Education. In addition, academic teachers in all disciplines can present studies of their scholarly approaches of teaching innovations. Participants present studies of their implementation of systematic, evidence-based, teaching innovations and teaching methods.

Call for posters

We kindly invite teachers to submit an abstract. Teachers of selected abstracts will be asked to make a poster to discuss during the conference. A proposal will be assessed according to what degree it:

  • aims at improved teaching and student learning (in a specific or in a wide sense).
  • uses a systematic, evidence-based approach, i.e.:
    • it builds on and makes use of relevant literature and theory;
    • it describes methods used for investigating teaching and student learning or teaching approaches (related to the discipline) in general;
    • it provides a clear description of the results and the conclusions that can be drawn from the results.
  • has a clear focus and structure.

Deadline: Please submit your abstract before the 17th of January. Before the 1st of February selected abstracts will be noticed.
