Call for interdisciplinary research projects
Call for Proposals for the Science for Sustainability Graduate Programme
At the Science for Sustainability (S4S) Caf茅 on 16 November, the second Call for Proposals of the S4S Graduate Programme was presented. This new round of the program will allow four outstanding students to pursue interdisciplinary PhD projects within the Faculty of Science.
At the caf茅, the four PhD students who started their projects in the first round of the Graduate Programme presented their research. The projects cover a range of topics, including biodiversity, energy-efficient computers, and new materials for passive radiative cooling. These projects demonstrated the breadth of sustainability research within the Faculty of Science and highlighted the need for interdisciplinary collaboration to address the challenges of sustainability.
Following the presentations, a panel consisting of the PhD students, program initiators, and the chair of the evaluation committee answered questions from the audience about the second call for proposals. This provided an opportunity for attendees to learn more about the selection process and the types of projects that the program is looking to support.
We look forward to receiving innovative and interdisciplinary proposals for the second round of the S4S Graduate Programme.
