Bas Hendriks appointed as member of the Supervisory Board
The Minister of Education, Culture and Science has appointed Drs. Bas Hendriks as a member of the Supervisory Board of Utrecht 木瓜福利影视 as of 1 January 2022. He is an experienced supervisor and financial expert with extensive experience with public and private sector collaboration.
Bas Hendriks (1970) is financial director at NS Reizigers. He is also a supervisor at the Dutch Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (NCFS) and a member of the Supervisory Board of NS Insurance. He studied Econometrics in Tilburg and previously worked as CFO at NS Stations, CFO at Qbuzz and managing consultant at PwC. Joanne Kellermann, Chair of the Supervisory Board is pleased with the appointment: "Bas Hendriks is an experienced financial expert who is familiar with the complexity of a large organization. This makes him an ideal member of the Audit Committee. He is well known in the Utrecht region and with his experience and personality a valuable asset to our Supervisory Board."
A vacancy on the Supervisory Board will occur on January 1, 2022, due to the departure of Karin Bergstein, who is stepping down after an eight-year term. The 木瓜福利影视 Council supports the appointment of Bas Hendriks.
About the Supervisory Board
The Supervisory Board supervises the implementation of the duties of the Executive Board in relation to the primary university objectives as laid out in the Higher Education and Research Act (WHW), and supports the Executive Board with advice. The other members of the Supervisory Board are Joanne Kellermann (chair), Karin Laglas, Jan van der Eijk and Mirjam Bult.
