Lan Nguyen has been awarded the Daniel Vignes Prize (IVth  edition) for her article 鈥楨xpanding the Environmental Regulatory Scope of UNCLOS Through the Rule of Reference: Potentials and Limits鈥 published in the journal Ocean Development & International Law (2021).

The is awarded every two years by the International Association for the Law of the Sea (AssIDMer) for 鈥渢he best article published in a journal or a collective work, to disseminate knowledge of the international law of the sea鈥.
