8 ROSANNA Fund for Women grants awarded
Last Friday eight talented female students and researchers of Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ received a grant from the ROSANNA Fund for Women.
The grants were presented by Prof. Dr. Rosi Braidotti and Prof. Dr. Anneke Smelik, founders of the ROSANNA Fund for Women. The named fund under the Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ Fund supports promising research and academic development of female students and scientists at Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ.
This year, among others, Hagar Abdalbar, Julia Colombijn, Marieke Buiter, Shannen Brammerloo, Rian Ligthart, Clara Vlessing and Aisha Aziz received grants of up to €5.000. The presentation took place during a festive ceremony as part of International Women's Day.
