The multidisciplinary of the Master’s, the in-depth and yet very student-oriented approach to the subjects, and the multitude of course options to choose from are the strongest attributes of this Master’s.

After an Erasmus exchange at Utrecht ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ in 2019 during my Environmental Engineering Bachelor´s, I was convinced that UU was the university I wanted to pursue my Master’s. Once I received the acceptance letter, I was very enthusiastic about the courses of the Energy & Materials track. The multidisciplinary of the Master’s, the in-depth and yet very student-oriented approach to the subjects, and the multitude of course options to choose from are the strongest attributes of this Master’s.

During these two years, I had the opportunity to deepen my knowledge of the sustainable challenges of our society and apply them to different assignments. The consultancy project in period 1 of the second year was definitely a highlight of the course. The clients even published our report on greenwashing on their website. The course gave me a good perspective on career opportunities and definitely opened many doors to future possibilities!
