What to do with returning IS soldiers?

Donald Trump would like to see the Dutch government retrieve the 300 Dutch IS soldiers back to the Netherlands. The government disagrees, but doesn鈥檛 consider leaving them in Syria as an option. What should happen in case these IS soldier do return to the Netherlands? NU.nl asked Kees van den Bos for his opinion.
Van den Bos: 'Ik snap dat de regering denkt 'wat krijgen we nou', maar links- of rechtsom, de Syri毛-gangers komen een keer terug", aldus Van den Bos. "Het is een lastige klus voor alle Europese landen. Iedereen probeert op dit moment het wiel uit te vinden. Een zorgvuldige analyse van wat geradicaliseerde mensen drijft is hierbij van onschatbare waarde.'
