Utrecht Professor co-authored IPCC report
Last week, UN climate panel IPCC published its latest report on global sea level rise. The report warns of an acceleration in sea level rise, warming of the oceans, more frequent occurrence of extreme storms, and a large increase in the long term if no action is taken now. Roderik van de Wal, Professor of Sea level change and coastal impacts at the Faculties of Science and Geosciences of Utrecht 木瓜福利影视, was one of the main authors of the report.
Van de Wal spoke to many Dutch media about the content and the writing process of the report. He told Dutch newspaper about the long days: 鈥淲e met for 12 to 16 hours a day. On two of the four days, I barely got a chance to eat.鈥 In an NOS article, he explains the content of the report: 鈥淭here are just too many things that go wrong, if the temperature on earth rises too much.鈥
