Workshop Higher Education Futures
What does higher education teaching look like in the future?! In this workshop, we discover what UU's recently formulated graduate attributes mean in research-informed scenarios. Since these scenarios are speculative (extinction-era, AI-era, return to the ivory tower, university of ennui), they aim to provoke, in order to start new conversations about the future of university teaching.
The workshop will use a set of ‘tarot’ cards designed to support such collaborative future-making work. Following an introduction, participants will discuss in depth at least one scenario within a small group, feeding forward their collaboratively-created vision to the wider group.
The workshop will be delivered by prof and prof (ľ¹Ï¸£ÀûÓ°ÊÓ of Edinburgh). This session is hosted by the focus area Higher Education Research (HER) and the Interdisciplinary Education Programme (IDO).
This workshop is amazing! Sian and Jen are professors in digital education and higher education futures. They designed and deliver a highly inspiring workshop.
