That’s the principle Jan Buining lives by and the driving force behind his upcoming book, The Unbearable Grip of Ultra-Processed Food- Navigating Towards a Healthier Food System to be released on September 3.

More than a book launch, this event will be a content-driven mini-symposium that deepens the conversation around the impact of ultra-processed foods (UPFs), while bringing together diverse perspectives. It’s a call for systemic change and an invitation to all stakeholders to work together towards a healthier and more sustainable food system.
