Symposium on the role of society in marine Carbon Dioxide Removal

to

The theme of this dialogue is the public opinion on marine Carbon Dioxide Removal (mCDR) â€” a topic that’s rapidly gaining attention in both science and society. By bringing together a wide range of voices from Dutch civil society and anyone curious about the ocean’s role in climate action, we aim to explore: How do people view marine Carbon Dioxide Removal? Is it seen as a promise or a peril? And what kind of framework is needed to guide responsible decision-making?

The afternoon will kick off with short, inspiring pitches from experts across different fields, followed by an open Q&A and interactive discussion — a chance to exchange ideas, challenge assumptions, and shape the conversation about the future of mCDR.

As there a limited spots available for the symposium, don't forget to register!
