Sustainability Dialogue: Energy in transition
The Hub Energy in Transition is in itself in transition. During the past period we had a rather narrow focus on energy for industry. Going forward we seek to broaden the scope of the Energy theme under Pathways to Sustainability and give more attention to the creation of an Utrecht community of scholars active in the rejuvenated hub Energy in Transition.
Ideas for this broadening that we like to discuss with you in this Sustainability Dialogue are Fairness, Citizen participation, Electric renewables, Economic antecedents and implications of the energy transition (governance, institutions, finance), Circular carbon, Transport energy & City infrastructure, Subsurface and the energy transition, Industry.
This dialogue is primarily intended for UU scholars, but interested external experts are welcome to send an email to prof. Gert Jan Kramer or prof. Madeleine Gibescu if you would like to join.
The strategic theme Pathways to Sustainability organises a series of dialogues around interdisciplinary topics that play a role in the theme and in society. With this we want to facilitate the discussion and stimulate new collaborations.
