Start Peer Observation Programme
Teaching is often done as an individual: what happens in the classroom stays in the classroom. Are you curious about how other lecturers teach? And what you could learn from them? The Peer Observation Programme (POP), organised by the Centre for Academic Teaching and Learning (CAT), offers you the opportunity to observe how your colleagues teach and to be observed yourself, so that you can reflect on your own teaching practice.
The POP consists of three joint meetings with observation rounds in between. You will go through the programme with an observation buddy, who you will be paired with during the first joint meeting. The first meeting takes place on Monday morning 10 November.
For whom?
Whether you are just starting out as a teacher or already have years of experience, the POP is meant for every lecturer. However, a condition for participation is that you are teaching during the period that programme runs. In addition, you are meant to follow the programme from start to finish, so you cannot join later.
