This time, we focus on co-creation of the curriculum as a way of entrepreneurial learning in our SIG-series EE Matters!. What do students learn from involving them in drafting the learning objectives of a course, and the assessment of these objectives? And what are the do's and don't for you as a teacher?
For this meeting of the SIG Entrepreneurship Education we join hands with the SIG Co-creation. Aukje Mantel-Teeuwisse, professor of Pharmacy and Global Health, shares her experiences with the course Digital Pharmaceutical Care, that she co-created with students. For a sneak preview, you can read We will also hear more about the experiences with co-creation from computer scientist Sergio Espana Cubillo, who is involved as a teacher in courses such as ICT Entrepreneurship and Organisations & ICT.
In just one hour - get inspired, ask questions and share your ideas with colleagues. You'll leave with some concrete tips to apply co-creation in your own (entrepreneurial) education. The meeting will be held in English.
EE Matters!
Entrepreneurial Education (EE) is a way to prepare students for the a future that is inherently uncertain. It's not necessarily about starting a business. It's about recognising and seizing opportunities. Solving complex problems in a focused manner. Being able to work with the resources at your disposal, and mobilising the resources and partners you need. In short: an entrepreneurial mindset and ditto skills. How do you offer this as a teacher within your discipline, in an existing or new course?
EE Matters! is an informal, online knowledge exchange for teachers at Utrecht 木瓜福利影视 and UMC Utrecht. One or more guest lecturers share their own experiences, answer questions and exchange views with you around a central theme. The meetings are short and sweet: in 60 minutes you'll obtain new insights for your own course(s) and meet like-minded colleagues from different disciplines.
The meetings are organised by the Centre for Entrepreneurship (UtrechtCE), that supports teachers with the development and strenghtening of entrepreneurial education.
