On Wednesday 15 October, the (SHN) organises 'Prussia in Crisis – New Insights on a Transforming 19th-Century State'. This event consists of two book sessions.

In the afternoon, from 13:30, four newly published books will be presented. Each book sheds light on Prussian political and social life. At19:00, the book launch of Sir Christopher Clark’s follows. This publication examines a moral and religious scandal in Königsberg, revealing deeper anxieties within Prussian society in the post-Napoleonic era.
