The storyline

As 鈥淭he Edukators鈥, Jan and Peter make a name for themselves by staging non-violent, creative protests against capitalism. They want to 鈥渆ducate鈥 the upper class by breaking into villas and leaving messages on the walls such as 鈥淭he fat years are over鈥 or 鈥淵ou have too much money鈥. They don't steal anything, at most they move the furniture around. Then Peter's girlfriend Jule falls in love with Jan and, without Peter, they take over the mansion of an influential businessman in 鈥淓dukators style鈥. However, they lose a phone and return to the house. Unfortunately, they are caught red-handed by the owner. They decide to kidnap him but then don't know what to do and ask Peter for help. The reckless kidnapping puts further strain on their friendship. The three idealists are confronted with the norms and values of the businessman, whom they see as an opponent, but who has a surprising past. Political activism suddenly turns out to be much more complicated than they thought.

From the makers of Goodbye Lenin, starring Daniel Br眉hl, the lead actor from that same film.
