International Cattle Reproduction Symposium - Farewell Peter Vos

to

On September 11th, after 38 years, colleague Peter Vos will officially retire from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. This will also mark the end of his veterinary career, which began in 1986 as a general practitioner in farm animals and continued in 1988 as a researcher/lecturer at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. As a reproductive specialist at the faculty, Peter trained a generation of veterinarians in the field of reproduction in general and farm animals in particular. In addition, he has been active in many positions and committees across the Faculty and has made a major contribution to reproductive research into the regulation of follicle and oocyte development and metabolic stress in cattle. To commemorate his contribution to reproductive research and education, a symposium will be organized on September 11th 2025, titled: 鈥淩eproductive Success in Cattle: From Oocyte and Embryo Competence to its role in Veterinary Practice鈥.

Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to say goodbye personally, during the reception while enjoying a snack and drink. Your presence is greatly appreciated by Peter and he cordially invites everyone to attend.
