How can (applied) universities create a breeding ground for innovation? What do you need, and who? How much does it cost? What opportunities and methods do teachers have to stimulate innovative thinking and entrepreneurial behaviour among students? And how can existing initiatives and chosen directions reinforce each other?
During our online meet-up on April 15, we'll learn from one of the best: .
Isabelle Reymen, scientific director of TU/e innovation Space and professor Design of Innovation Ecosystems, will share how innovation Space came about and how this centre of expertise on Challenge-Based Learning and student entrepreneurship has grown into a leading hub for education innovation, that became first prize winner of the Dutch Higher Education Awards 2021.
After a more general introduction on the emergence of the centre, we go into depth around what really happens at TU/e innovation Space in terms of innovative and entrepreneurial education. You will get an introduction to a Challenge-Based Learning master course with a focus on developing an entrepreneurial mindset via working on open-ended real-life challenges in interdisciplinary teams and where students become owners of their own learning process. Learn more about how students in these type of projects create impact, together with researchers, companies, artists, and/or societal organisations.
This session is aimed at educators and policy makers (interested in) entrepreneurial education, and will be held in English. There will be plenty of time for interaction and networking.
This event is initiated by the Entrepreneurial Education Network, part of the Strategic Alliance between Utrecht, Wageningen and Eindhoven.
