How Remote Warfare Blows Back: The reverberating effects of a Coalition airstrike
On 12th of March, dr. Lauren Gould (UGlobe and UU Public Engagement fellow and director of The Intimacies or Remote Warfare programme), will talk about her latest research project ‘How Remote Warfare Blows Back’ during the Global and Imperial Relations lunch session. Herein, she will pay special attention to how she developed her research project in close collaboration with her societal partners (Airwars & PAX), set up an accompanying Community Engagement Learning project with 5 students and how the findings will feed into her programme’s ongoing Road Map process with the Ministry of Defence. Hereby she will illustrate why and how public engagement and CEL enriches her research and vice-versa.
