First meeting SIG Dialogue in Education

to

Making complex topics discussable in your lectures. Encouraging students to change perspectives and teaching them how to truly listen and engage in respectful dialogue. The UU Education Model places skills such as “open dialogue” and “being open to other perspectives” at the heart of academic education. That sounds great, but how do you do that in practice, organising and facilitating dialogue as part of your teaching?

In this first meeting of the new Special Interest Group (SIG) Dialogue in Education, we would like to meet other teachers who are interested in this theme, already use dialogue in their teaching or would like to start doing so. The specific set-up of the meeting is still to be determined. Feel free to join!
